體能超勁爆的法國網球選手「跳跳人」孟菲爾斯(Gael Monfils)，經常上演誇張救球、翻滾等動作，娛樂性十足。30日他在美網首輪賽事，救球時踢到場邊計時器，最後計時器倒下螢幕全碎裂。
孟菲爾斯美網首輪碰上「盧森堡重砲」穆勒(Gilles Muller)，孟菲爾斯以6:4、6:2、7:6(5)直落三獲勝。但在比賽中他為了救一記高球，而踢到牆面上的計時器，最後計時器整面倒下，螢幕整個支離破碎。
不只上演誇張救球，喜感十足的孟菲爾斯球拍還在發球時脫手而出，讓花大錢進場欣賞大滿貫的球迷值回票價。
